WE LIVE ON: WARTIME KYIV — a raw and personal look at the reality of modern war, just outside my home
In the early hours of April 24th, 2025, a russian missile struck a quiet residential street in Kyiv — just five kilometers from my home. This short film, part of my documentary series WE LIVE ON: WARTIME KYIV, captures the immediate aftermath: shattered homes, broken glass, the haunting silence after chaos… and the quiet resilience of the people left behind. There were no military targets here — only families, children, and ordinary lives suddenly torn apart.
Through raw footage, authentic sound recorded on location, and my personal perspective, this film documents not only the devastation — but also the unshakable strength of a city that refuses to fall.

Every contribution makes a difference!
To keep going, I urgently need support with SSD drives, action cameras, transport costs, and basic daily essentials. If you or any of your contacts are able to help, I’d be deeply grateful. Every bit of support helps me stay in the field and continue sharing story with the world.
It also helps lay the foundation for a full feature-length documentary, “We Live On: Wartime Kyiv” which I’m working toward creating — a lasting cinematic record of resilience in the face of war. Your support doesn’t just fund a project—it fuels a self-funded mission based in Kyiv during the war to document and share voices and moments that might otherwise go unheard. It enables me to keep telling these stories with honesty and depth, reaching wider audiences and raising awareness about realities many don’t see.
