Histibe – Millennium Drum N Bass

The visual side and music videos of the album deserve special attention. Collaborating with Joe Perez, a highly regarded cover art designer, he created an epic cover, booklet, and logo design for Histibe, with additional photography by Eric Weindel. Two music videos—for the tracks Third Millennium and So Far—directed by German filmmaker Julius Dettmer, received various digital awards on Behance, curated by Adobe, and premiered on the biggest drum & bass channel, UKF, as well as JAY-Z’s Life+Times official website. Moreover, the album was reviewed by various online media outlets, including Complex Magazine USA, Grungecake, and many others.

What’s even more interesting is that Histibe, based in Kyiv, Ukraine, independently bridged the gap between creatives and media, driven by his passion for spreading the word about electronic music and inspiring others, while utilizing the best resources available at the time.

Maks Histibe is a Ukrainian composer, producer, video director, and sound designer. Since 2005, he has been experimenting with electronica, drum & bass, breakbeat, and techno to inspire others. From his Kyiv-based studio, he provides video production, music scoring, and sound design for numerous international projects and companies. Histibe has collaborated with acclaimed creatives and artists from around the world to inspire others. Passionate about sound design, he blends it seamlessly with vocals, synthesizers, and diverse field recordings.

As an independent artist, Maks has released four music albums, over twenty sample packs, and ten official music videos. His work has been showcased by companies such as Native Instruments, Arturia, Image-Line FL Studio, M-Audio, Loopmasters, Soundiron, Expressive E, Output, CAD Audio, Panasonic, and GoPro. Some of his selected audio and visual projects have been featured in Billboard, AskAudio, Future Music Magazine, Complex Magazine, and UKF.
